TigerAir flights to Bali increasing.
Tigerair Australia is unveiling its fleet of three reconditioned Virgin Australia 737-800s to fly to Bali beginning in March 2016.
The planes will fly between Adelaide - Bali, Melbourne - Bali, and Perth – Bali. They have been repainted in the Tigerair livery with new seating installed.
Parent Virgin Australia owns the Boeing 737s that Tigerair will fly to Bali with cockpit crew on “loan” from Virgin to the low-cost-no-frill subsidiary.
Initially three reconditioned Boeing 737s will be flown on the TigerAir route with new cabin crew being trained to handle the new flight schedules.
Garuda Indonesia to Fly into London Heathrow
Garuda Indonesia will start its long-anticipated non-stop service connecting Jakarta and London Heathrow on 31st March 2016. Changing from Gatwick to Heathrow means more slots and more cargo business.
The service will fly five times weekly, departing Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from Jakarta. The return flight from London will have an intermediate stop in Singapore. Flight time Jakarta-Bali is 1h 35min. 34 flights per day Jakarta-Bali. You can book from Heathrow right through to Bali.
The new service will be operated with three classes, Business Class, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (nice plush leather seats, more leg and elbow room).
Garuda Indonesia wants to tap into the UK market, estimated to be among the strongest performing European markets for tourists to the Island of Bali.
Connecting Continental USA and Southeast Asia
United Airlines is to Introduce 15-Hour Non-Stop San Francisco to Singapore in June 2016, linking Continental USA and Southeast Asia directly.
When United start the new service, it will make the first-ever direct connection between San Francisco and Singapore and the only nonstop flight from any U.S. city to the Island Republic of The Lion.
United’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will be used on the route, which will become the longest passenger journey flown by any U.S. Airline, 8,446 miles (13592.52km).
Only a short (2 hour) flight from Bali hub, Singapore hub remains an important secondary air gateway to Bali (Singapore Airlines, Air Asia, Lion) Lombok (Silk Air) and other islands of Wonderful Indonesia, as well as the Capital, Jakarta.
